Why businesses fail to click on the launch of new product or technology?

A lot of businesses fail to take the attention of the user’s perspective mainly for the reason that the products that were introduced is a mere upgrade to their existing product or technology hence the business case loses since the basic principle of the survival of the product does not get altered in the scenario, in other words the users will only check for product which are vital and crucial to their business or need, rather than just a add-on to their existing product.

Necessity is the mother of invention

For example with the introduction of the latest mobile phones users tend to check the latest configurations however companies who manufacture them have to by default build all the basic configuration of a mobile phone on the chip for example camera, motherboard, ic chipset of the previous configuration and cannot use this to sell the mobile by itself. As technology grows a lot of features become so much accepted by users that they don’t even bother whether these features are included and it becomes a responsibility of the manufacturer to include this in the version which he is currently come up with.
Having said that we cannot always think of innovation without keeping in mind the user requirements and needs there are many products that were invented only for the well-being of individuals however this inventions have been very beneficial to the mankind like the toothbrush, toothpaste, but still without their need still individuals can survive. The purpose of this abstract is to clearly define the need and survival aspects of a product.
Once scientists and manufacturers start to think from this angle then there will be an array of products that will hold good for the users in particular. Currently companies like Apple and Samsung are already dong this in the mobile space however very much less done in the field of science and medicine and things need to improve since anything which is linked to human life and values needs to be given the utmost importance and rest of the other things can be prioritized according to needs whenever it arises. Medical technology has advanced a lot with respect to the devices but not as compared to the mobile technology or any other entertainment technology which gives a clear distinction about the concept that is being trying to be explained. This is a clear request for the technology firms to invest wisely and equally in all the sectors and not be biased about such products.

My road trip to Srirangapatna

For the first time ever, I had decided to go on a long drive by my bike Royal Enfield Thunderbird and the day arrived in Feb 2015.

It was a regular Friday, just like all other regular 9 to 5 corporate workers it was an ordinary day however for me the day was full with enthusiasm and thrilling feeling because I had to visit Srirangapatna as part of my content aggregation for the development of the Android app that my client firm was developing. I had decided to go there by bike as planned the previous day and also gained the necessary inputs and going there by bike would help me explore the places around more effortlessly.

My ride started with both exhilaration and a little bit nervous as this was my first ever solo ride and was bit anxious. I left Bangalore at 6:25 am heading towards Srirangapatna via Mysore road. The road was very excellent and I tried to stay within 60-80 kmph, yet I couldn't resist and started reaching 100 kmph as applicable when traffic ahead was free. For quite a distance I could go between 80-100. I passed by towns Ramanagaram and Mandya.I rode for nearly 3 hours.

An arch on the road welcomed me to Srirangapatna. I continued ahead and after a bridge, I saw a similar board on the right side, I took a right turn and entered gateway of a fort. In few meters, I drove by Masjid on right, took this right and kept going straight. Within some time, I found on a left board says to goes to Sri Ranganthaswamy temple.

I reached the temple at 10:15 am, I had good darshan and later collected information related to my archaeology content which I needed. Continuing my journey I visited Tipu’s palace, Tipu Death place, Colonel Bailey’s dungeon but I when I visited another dungeon by name, Thomas dungeon which was located on a hillock. I climbed it and just was enjoying the scenic beauty of the whole town I slipped and I nearly would have fallen into my death. I don’t know whether my previous birth virtues saved me or the darshan of Sri Ranganthaswamy. That day I said to myself you have to be quite cautious that just you have luck you should not try it.

I later continued my journey visited other places and later had lunch and did some shopping at Cauvery handicrafts and bought sandalwood based artifacts as the souvenir for which the city is famous for. I finally left by 4 pm to reach Bangalore but yet a journey never to forget.

What We Have Done So Far?

What we achieved so far? Is this the end of our journey or there is something else left for which we were born this question I sense that everyone gets at some part in their life. It is for us to recognize what we are missing and fill that. As we grow older we are easy to achieve our goals easily compared to our younger days this is because of the experiences and gut feeling we have developed over years and we are easily able to predict whether something would work or not work at all.

All this boils downs to the fact what priorities we have set in our life for ourselves whether it is materialistic or holistic purely depends on each individual. If the person was very poor he would definitely aim to overcome that lack then what in cases of people who are wealthy and who are lacking peace of mind and their goal is to achieve peace of mind.

As far I have seen, finally every person works on things that were lacking in their life to make it sufficient or make it surplus but what is the next step? Is it the end of the journey definitely not he creates a need unknowingly and moves on to fulfill that? This is the overall concept of life so I am sure this is the same thing that happens around in everyone's life.

How do we tackle this situation without creating a need or another liability is the thing we need to consider? At one point of life we will be satisfied both materially as well as achieved whatever we want to achieve which was the short goal of our life. Then that time it is for us to stop and be patient and say to ourselves that we have lived our life and now we should live for others then this life will be meaningful. Be it gifting a person who has been deprived of a meal or be it contributing to a public fund to help people at the same time.

The day if we see happiness in someone else's laughter i think we have achieved the very purpose of the birth on this planet and the reason we were sent back to this world. The simple truth about life is if we understand ourselves better than understanding others we achieve even the unachievable, easier said than done.

Why Content Marketing?

I know that to many people, content marketing is just a buzzword. But really content marketing includes all the different types of content that you need to use today, to sell your brand and your products to your customer.

Content Marketing includes creating content for website landing pages, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, podcasts, email newsletters, blogs and social media. Once the content is created, content marketing also encompasses all the different channels you would use to market your content.

The most savvy and profitable online entrepreneurs use content marketing because:
  • It helps them build trust with their customers, and research shows that the more customers trust you, the more likely they are to buy from you.
  • Content Marketing helps establish you as a thought leader in your industry, which is great for your brand and ultimately your product.
  • Regular blogs and social media interactions help you build relationships with your customer, which is the 21st century way and of-course the right way of doing business.
  • Blogs and fresh content are great for search engine rankings and the higher you rank on google, the more traffic, engagement and sales you will see. Let’s face it, in today’s global economy, your website is truly your virtual office. So the more people that stop by, the higher the chances of them buying from you versus your competitor.
  • These reasons are enough but the most important reason is that you are educating your customers about your product and empowering them with the knowledge to make the best and most informed decisions.
  • Content marketing is also fun. Its the best way to show your passion for your product in a personal way that relates to people and connects them to be part of your story.

Negative People will Always Criticize

Some people criticize no matter what. It does not matter which side you are on, they are always on the other side. They have made a career out of criticizing. They are "career critics." They criticize as if they will win a prize at a contest. They will find fault with every person and every situation. You will find people like this in every home, family, office. They go around finding fault and telling everybody how bad things are and blaming the whole world for their problems. We have a name for these people. They are called energy suckers. They will  go to the cafeteria and drown themselves in 20 cups of tea and  coffee and smoke to their hearts' content with one excuse: they are trying to relax. All that they are doing is causing more tension for themselves and for others around them. They spread negative messages like a plague and create an environment conducive to negative results.

It has been more than a year now since I have stopped writing

It has been more than a year now since I have stopped writing. Is this due to the fact that I am quite cozy at this place? and stopped thinking, definitely not I sometimes think I have stopped looking at life closely but that is not the real reason. Every day we grow by our ideas, our goals and I feel that it is not just writing blogs through which we can achieve something better than what we are doing today .We need to work our ways out in a manner that we can bring things to a nice shape which I feel am lacking today. More or less I am definitely not being very communicative these days maybe my focus is all time on the work and some time left spent on how to straighten things that were out of place all this time. Hope to have this thought and moving forward so I can do something very positive about my goals.

My Struggle

Every day was a struggle when I look back at the days that passed by however I feel that because of so many pains I feel like a rock and I always remembered the popular saying that says “A diamond always requires many strikes to luster” and went forward in life otherwise, I would not have been even what I am now. I always believed that “God” does not come in person to help us however he helps us through others and I quite believe it after many experiences and incidents such struggles should not waylay you; instead make you choose alternate paths so as to reach your destination. Life’s struggles have made me philosophical and I feel that even my writing has started to pick that trait. I feel quite happy for myself and thank god for giving me at least this opportunity because this is what life is all about with so many differences and you in the middle trying to always lean to greener side of it. On point is clear it is left for you to choose the right thing.
